The 3 stages includes one of the highest road passes in Switzerland, the Abula Pass at 2,315m. You’ll be cycling through traditional chocolate box Swiss villages, jaw-dropping scenery and of course the famous Rhaetian Railway, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.

Gran Fondo San Gottardo
An event with a serious climbing punch.
3,000 vertical metres of climbing, starting with the infamous San Gottardo Pass - a cobbled alpine climb known as the Paris-Roubaix des Alpes.
This event requires endurance and skill; be prepared for cobbles and fast descents.

A scenic cycle along the Rhone river, through undulating vineyards and quaint wine making villages with some short, sharp climbs, depending on your choice of route.

Gran Fondo Valais
Our local classic.
Despite being a relatively new sportive, the Tour des Stations/Gran Fondo Valais was ridden by Alberto Contador in 2019, and finishes in the centre of Verbier. There are many routes to choose from, with the toughest Ultrafondo taking you up 8,200m over 240km. Ride solo, as a relay or different distances.

Without doubt, the most underrated sportive in the cycling calendar.
The longest route is a staggering 274km and goes over five legendary Swiss alpine passes: Grimsel, Nufenen, Lukmanier, Oberalp and Susten. All-in-all, be prepared to do nearly 7,000m of climbing if you’re signed up for the ‘Platintour’ - the longest route.
